Until recently Lyndey Milan was Food Director of The Australian Women’s Weekly for nearly nine years, and and co–host of Fresh with The Australian Women’s Weekly for eight years, since its inception.
Lyndey has a strong following for her public appearances and her four best–selling cookbooks. Balance — Matching Food and Wine. What Works and Why co–authored with Colin Corney won Best Food and Wine Writing at the Vittoria Australian Food Media Awards in 2006.
Lyndey holds honorary positions including RAS Councilor where she chairs the progressive Fine Foods committee, as Ambassador for Australia Day, the Eating Disorders Foundation and Australian Food Media Awards. She is a Past President of both the Food Media Club Australia and the Wine Press Club of NSW (now Wine Communicators Australia).
Lyndey has been reviewing restaurants since 1987 and is a respected judge.
